The data was collected from Zackenberg, Northeast Greenland, to describe the fauna and vascular flora of the region. DNA barcodes were created for the specimens to provide a comprehensive DNA barcode library for the region. In addition, material from other parts of Greenland was also obtained, to extend the species coverage within Greenland.
